Jöchelspitze - Lechtal skiing area

This small but mighty skiing area in the Lechtal valley is accessible by the Lechtaler Bergbahnen lift facilities.

On the sunny side of the Lechtal valley, the Lechtaler Bergbahnen lift facilities take you up on 1,800 m asl. The ascent alone is an adventure, as this lift facilities overcome a drop of 600 m, making you experience a great view. The view from the top is really amazing, stretching from the Lechtal valley to the Allgäu Alps. If you seek a calm and small skiing area for some sunny days on the slopes, the skiing area at the Jöchlspitze is the right place for you. In summer and autumn, this area is by the way considered a good area for paragliding and delta-flying.

Back to the winter: if you plan to spend longer holidays in the Lechtal valley and want to try a large variety of ski slopes, we recommend you the 3-valley-ticket (”3-Täler-Pass”), making you access the skiing areas in the Lechtal valley in Tyrol, and the Bregenzerwald area and Grosses Walsertal valley in Germany. In other words, 37 skiing areas, 168 lift facilities and more than 500 km of well-groomed ski slopes are available. Moreover, the Lechtal valley offers the Gföllberglift Holzgau ski lift, which is ideal for kids and beginners. The ski tickets of the Jöchelspitze skiing area are also valid in this place.
