Skigebiet Christlum 2011

Christlum - Achensee skiing area

At the northern end of Lake Achensee, at the charming village of Achenkirch, the Hochalm lift facilities take you into the Christlum skiing area.

From the lake to the mountain… only a few hundred metres from Lake Achensee, there is the lower terminus of the Hochalm lift facilities, taking you on 1,800 m asl. The Christlum skiing area is rather snow-sure, from November to April, guaranteed not at least due to the state-of-the-art snow-making equipment, for which its has even been awarded. This skiing area can be reached from Innsbruck and Munich within one hour and is ideal for a weekend getaway. By the way, not only snow-making has been awarded, but also grooming of the slopes.

Easy runs, challenging ski slopes, carving or racing down the mogul field, you’ll be spoilt for choice. And in the evenings you can do tobogganing on the illuminated track or we recommend you après-ski, e.g. in the “Salettl” or in the “Skilehrerstüberl”. On a regular basis, special days are organised in the skiing area, such as family days or “Fountain of Youth days”, in which guests aged 50+ get a reduced ticket. See you in the Christlum skiing area!
