The highest located skiing village offers ski and fun from the beginning of December to late spring.

Skiing in the Kühtai skiing are on 2,520 m asl is a pleasure, as there is something for every taste in this renowned skiing, in which most of the slopes are of medium difficulty. However, there are also some challenging slopes as well as slopes for beginners. Due to the altitude of the skiing area it is snow sure. Modern and even weather protective lift facilities take you nearly from the doorstep of your accomodation into the skiing area. And those who cannot get enough during the day can also enjoy nighttime skiing on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 7.30 to 10 pm. Some 10,000 volt make it possible to make it possible to burn the candle at both ends in the Kühtai skiing area. Another highlight in the skiing area are the deep powder snow slopes, where you can exercise before you ski in cleared area.

From the winter season 2008/09 the new gondola lift Kaiserbahn will be operating and there will also be another innovation, in other words you can also ski on the slopes of the Oetz skiing area and use the lift facilities, using the same ski pass. If you don’t have the right kit or you would like to rent the latest skis, you can simply rent everything you need in one of the ski rentals. And in case you would like to refine your technique or you have never tried skiing, certified skiing instructors will show you how to ski - also your kids will be little ski stars after a skiing lesson. In fact, the Kühtai skiing area is really a family-friendly skiing area!
