The World Cup skiing area Sölden offers easy slopes for beginners on the Giggljoch as well as challenging slopes on the Gaislachkogl.

BIG 3 - this skiing area in the Ötztal valley is the only one that inculdes three different mountains of three thousand metres, which are the Gaislachkogl (3,058 m), Tiefenbachkogl [3,250 m) and Schwarze Schneid (3,340 m). This fact stands for triple skiing fun as well as triple panoramic view! The Gaislachkogl mountain is the smallest of the BIG 3, but also offers a great panoramic view. The Tiefenbachkogl, however, offers a fabulous view on the Wildspitze mountain, while the Schwarze Schneid is the giant of the skiing mountains. Well, enough of panoramic views, in the end you came for skiing, didn’t you!?

The skiing area Sölden every year is venue for a women’s and men’s world cup race in Alpine skiing, but not only for this reason it is world famous. Sölden also captivates due to the wide range of offers. Snowboarders will spend most of their holidays in the BASE winterpark on the Giggljoch. This boarder’s paradise is located right beneath the chair lifts Hainbachkar and Silberbrünnl. Beside numerous snow elements and jibs there is also a chill area with music. On the Gaislachkogl snowboarders can drop interesting cliffs. Moreover nothing lacks for those who love skiing. There are plain exercise slopes for beginners and steep, challenging ski runs for experts as well as world cup-tested slopes. Also the off-piste offers can show their face, in fact Sölden is not only known for the ski slopes, but also for the parties. However you spend your winter holidays in Sölden, you won’t return home unsatisfied! Have fun on and off-piste!
