About 52 km of ski slopes, nine lift facilites and 1,000 metres of altitude difference attract winter athletes from far and wide on the high plateau above Jezens in the Pitztal valley. Snow is not lacking in this skiings area, as it features state-of-the-art snow making equipment. Snowboarding, carving or simply skiing stands for fun both for adults and children. If you don’t have skiers or equipment, you can simply rent it in one of the ski rentals. However, the Hochzeiger Bergbahnen are considered to be the skiing area number one in the Pitztal valley. It includes undulating terrain and is clear of trees.
After an exhausting day on the skis it’s high time to meet up in one of the ski lodges and restaurants, e.g in the Hochzeigerhaus, the Tanzalm, the Stadlerhütte or the Après Ski Bar Illegal. Night owls can enjoy ice skating on the frozen pond in Jezens until 12 pm.
> Did you know that this skiing area is the home skiing area of ski star Benjamin Raich? One of the black ski slopes is named after the famous skier. And if you are lucky, maybe you even meet him on the slopes?!
