Alpine Coaster Imst
What snakes its way across the landscape in Imst? It’s the Alps’ longest Roller Coaster!
Take a seat and don’t forget to fasten your belts! A ride in the longest roller coaster of the Alps is a breathtaking experience. The start takes place at the Untermarkter Alm on 1,500 m above sea level. Once on the track, it’s too late to stop and the rolling adventure begins!
Exciting 12 minutes are coming up, and these minutes are not for the faint-hearted! Sharp curves, 16 Jumps, 25 waves and jumps of 5 metres are only some of the exciting elements that are included in the 3.5 km long Alpine Coaster in Imst. The top speed that can be achieved is about 40 kmph… oh wow! :-)
But don’t worry, for those who are not that brave: the sleds have been established compliant with the highest safety standards and are equipped with an easy to use brake! By the way: you can also enjoy this breathtaking experience in case of bad weather, as the sleds are equiped with a cover. And how to reach the Alpine Coaster? Take the double-seated chair lift from Hoch-Imst!
Please note: some rules for the little Alpine Coaster pilotes:
> children aged 3+ can ride in the Alpine Coaster
> children aged 8+ and 1.25 m tall are allowed to ride alone
> children aged 14+ can are also allowed to ride in two
