Cross-country skiing

Tyrol is an exemplary cross-country skiing region and offers a wide variety of cross country ski tracks in every level of difficulty.

Not without good reason this sport is booming - it involves more than 90% of all muscles and it does not stress the joints. Moreover cross-country skiing is a real fountain of youth and fitness and perfect to strengthen your body consciousness. Moreover it is perfect for alleviating stress - enough reasons to start cross-country skiing, don’t you think? Tyrol offers great conditions for gliding in the snow - more than incredible 4,000 km of cross country ski runs expect you.

To the fore are not only the athletic aspects, but also the pleasure to fully enjoy nature is of utmost importance in this sports. We recommend you to simply stick to the so called “Loipen Gütesiegel”, a seal of quality which is awarded by the state government of Tyrol. The safety and the maintenance of the ski tracks are taken into consideration regarding this seal of quality.
