The journey into the silver mine starts with an 800 m train ride down into the “Sigmund” tunnel. During the day the city enchants you with fascinating historical buildings and a pleasant pedestrian zone.

Surrounded by the wild romantic Karwendel mountain chain, there are the resorts Stans, Jenbach - just to name a few - and the villages around Lake Achensee (see pic).
