Hexenwasser Hochsöll

Hexenwasser Hochsöll

At the Hohe Salve mountain, there is the whitches’ water theme and adventure park Hochsöll, dealing with the element “water”.

Once upon a time area surrounding the Hohe Salve mountain was considered to be bewitched and the inhabitants of this spot of land were greatly feared, but also worshipped. These witches wore stony jewels made of cut stones. Today, however, this place is dedicated to children and families and is ideal to spend an informative, adventurous and relaxing day.

Grasping water with all senses - this is what adults and children can do in the advernture park “Hexenwasser Hochsöll” along a 450 m path. This is where the power and vitality of water comes into its own, as visitors can follow a mountain river from the source to the outlet.

Afterwards visitors can proceed on a 2 km long barefoot path, on which you can thoroughly massage your feet - pebble, big stones, water and meadows form the subsurface. And in between you can enjoy a Kneipp treatment for arms and legs… what a pleasure! At the end of the barefoot path you can wash you feet and whip them into shape!

Boredom has no chance in the Hexenwasser Hochsöll - the offer includes climbing ponds, mud pools, fire places (see fig.) and many more attractions. By the way visitors will be enthusiastic about the view on more than 70 mountains of 3000 metres. This is also where the first turnable panorama terrace of Austria, a wind harp and 15 sundial stations can be admired.
