With the aid of "Franz", the audioguide and Mint Master, you can investigate on 500 years of mint history and get on to the track of mint manipulators and technical sensations at the Hall Mint Museum (Museum Münze Hall), located inside the medieval Hasegg Castle. Imposing machines and precious mints expect you. Furthermore, precious objects of the Waldauf Collection are exhibited, a computer terminal provides background information regarding town and architecture, and makes you fly like a bird up the Münzerturm (Mint Tower).
For young visitors, there is a child-tailored version of "Franzl" to become junior mint masters. The Mint Tower, however, symbol of the town, fascinates with light and sound effects, and provides information on the history of Hall in Tirol in the Hall Municipal Museum (Stadtmuseum Hall). The tower is accessible: The ascent is rewarded by a fantastic view and a European kestrel area.
Finally the triple-run circular staircase, which is an exceptional architectonic pecularity, takes you to the Europe Thaler, the largest silver thaler of the world, attracting visitors from all over with its 20 kg of silver. And in the end, in the shop of the Mint Museum, you can mint your own coin.
