Description
Axams is very proud of its genuine Carnival customs - especially of the traditional "Wampeler Riding". Carnival Thursday also marks the ending of the Carnival period in Axams.
In 2016 the "Axams Wampeler Riding" has been declared by UNESCO to be a Masterpiece of the Intangible Heritage of Humanity.
