The Culinary Mountain Weeks will take place in the period of the cattle drive:
Gasthof Tenn (Hopfgarten intermediate station):
"Wilderer-Frühstück" breakfast from 9 to 11 am
Alpengasthof Rigi (1.5 hour-walk from the mountain station):
traditional Brodakrapfen (Monday and Tuesday)
pastry with cabbage (Friday to Sunday)
venison from Mt Salvenberg (Sunday)
cheese dumplings with salad or soup (daily)
Kraftalm mountain hut (45 minutes-walk from the mountain station):
fresh trouts and pastry with cabbage (daily except Tuesday)
goulash with mushrooms (on week-ends)
Gipfelalm mountain hut (on top of Mt Hohe Salve):
"Grandma Weeks" with speck dumplings, farmers' roast with cheese spatzle, venison goulash, farmers' break, furthermore daily varying delicacies such as pea soup, Ziachkiachl (fried dough) etc
