Bergkastel Nauders Skiing Area

The Bergkastel Skiing Area at the Reschen Pass is part of the Two Country Skiarena between North Tyrol and South Tyrol in Italy

The Bergkastel Skiing Area extends on the Bergkastel Peak, on Mt. Tscheyeck and Mt. Gueserkopf in the Oetztal Alps. It has been rewarded with the seal of quality by the State of Tyrol for its ski slopes, cross-country ski tracks and - as one of the first skiing areas of the region - for its toboggan runs: One of them is the 8 km long Bergkastel Run, one of Tyrol's longest natural toboggan runs.

Snowboarders will be attracted by the Flow Parks Nauders made up of the Base Park, the Scenic Park, the Pine Park in a stone pine forest, the Goldwater Cross with steep curves, and the Speed Check. For freeriders there are five routes in powder snow, among them the Down Under and the Border Route. The wide range of offers for families, however, include the Goldpark Nauders at the new Goldsee Cable Car with its child-friendly ski slope and the Nauderixland, a public area on the Bergkastel with two magic carpets. The ski kindergarten provides childcare for the little ones, and the child-friendly restaurant and child protection on all chairlifts complete the offer.

With the free Nauders App you can track every move of your ski day. The Bergkastel with its 69 km of slopes and 6 km of ski routes is one of the five skiing areas of the Two Country Ski Arena in the surroundings of the Resia Pass between Austria and Italy. It features 211 km of stunning ski slopes ranging up to 3,250 m a.s.l. on the Solda Glacier. Majestic mountains of three thousand metres and more in the border triangle Italy, Austria and Switzerland tower above this transnational skiing region, among them Mt. Cevedale, "King Ortles", Mt. Gran Zebrù and Mt. Palla Bianca.
