Elfercoaster

Since summer 2026, you can speed down the Elfer on an Alpine Coaster. From the mountain station of the Elferbahnen in Neustift im Stubaital, one of Tyrol's most modern Alpine Coasters takes you down towards the valley at speeds of up to 40 kmph.

Spirals, steep banked turns and plenty of speed make the Elfercoaster a thrilling ride. You can jump into one of the 43 toboggans on your own or with a partner to safely whiz down the slope.

The track is one kilometre long. The Elfercoaster operates in all weather conditions, meaning you can use it in any season. In winter, the Elferbahnen Skiing Area opens its doors here. Local partner businesses from the Stubai Valley primarily built the Alpine Coaster.

Now, simply lean back and relax - the comfortable backrest lets you enjoy the ride just like sitting in an armchair! During the Elferbahnen summer season, the Alpine Coaster is open every day, and also in the evening once a week. Children aged 10 and over who are at least 1.35 metres tall can ride alone. Children aged 5 to 9 must ride with an older person (aged 16 or over). Double rides have a maximum weight limit of 150 kg.
