On the Serles, also called Waldrastspitze, a 2,717 m high mountain in the Stubaital valley, the summer toboggan run Mieders awaits the adventurers. On its slope, 40 steep turns were realised on a distance of 2.8 km, overcoming a total of 640 metres in altitude until the finish.
The 8-seater cable car of the Serlesbahnen Mieders lift facilities takes you comfortably up to 1,620 m a.s.l. and to the start of the summer toboggan run. From there the ride down the mountain starts at a speed of up to 42 km ph to the valley station at 980 m a.s.l. Already during the ascent by cable car you can watch those who are racing down on their sledges.
By the way: The Serles-Koppeneck area is also a beautiful hiking area with numerous paths and excursion destinations. These include the Maria Waldrast Pilgrimage Church and the nearby Koppeneck tavern, which invites you to take a break on the sun terrace.
