Located at the foot of the biggest waterfall of Tyrol, the Oetztal Birds of Prey Park offers flight demonstrations in an open-air arena.

Besides the Oetzi Village in Umhausen in the Oetztal valley, a special attraction awaits you at the foot of the Stuiben Waterfall. For some years now, birds of prey show off in spectacular flight demonstrations daily. 15 aviaries which can be also visited, house eagles, vultures, kites, owls, buzzards, ravens and hawks. A golden eagle has been immortalised in form of a stone sculpture, a work of the artist Werner Pienz.
The 5,000 sqm area of the park is the new home of approx. 30 birds of prey of 15 variant types. These majestic lords of the air can be admired from the open-air arena, which provides space for about 300 people. Twice a day flight demonstrations of 45 minutes take place. Moreover the “Ötztaler Greifvogelpark” falconry cares for the so important reintroduction and nursing programme for the birds of prey.
The park is completed by an education trail about the history of the falconry and a shop. For Oetztal (Premium) Card holders the entrance is free. By the way: the entire area is barrier free!
