Every year, jazz fans, instrumentalists, and vocalists gather at the Outreach Music Festival in Schwaz. Founded in 1993 by the New York-based jazz trumpeter Franz Hackl, this festival has a long tradition. The event regularly crosses genre boundaries, blending jazz with funk, electronic, and classical music.

Alongside performances by international jazz and rock stars and more intimate evening concerts, the programme features various workshops at the 'Outreach Academy' for making music together. There are also workshop formats designed for children and young people, as well as panel discussions.

The events take place at various venues across Schwaz. The main stage is located in the SZentrum.
