Zillertal Arena - Zell, Gerlos

Zillertal Arena

The largest snow and fun arena of the Zillertal valley offers skiing fun on 165 km of ski slopes.

The Zillertal Arena is one of the largest and most modern skiing areas of Austria and includes the localities of Zell and Gerlos on Tyrolean territory as well as Königsleiten, Wald and Krimml in Salzburg. The Zillertal Arena is the largest connected snow arena of the Zillertal valley, not least because of the connection to the Gerlosplatte Hochkrimml in the winter season 2003/04. In this skiing area you are really spoilt for choice. Snowboarders love the hot-area-zone snowpark in Gerlos, while speedy racers will enjoy the three permanent race tracks, where they can challenge the record.

Those who do not want to ski can enjoy ice skating on one of the four ice skating grounds or try tobogganing. Directly at the valley station of the Zillertal Arena/Zell, there is a new arena coaster - outright toboggan fun! And after an exhausting outdoor day you can amuse yourself in one of the ski huts and snow bars.

The Zillertal Arena Skipass and the Zillertal Arena Superskipass also provides access to the Ski Arena Wildkogel in Neukirchen am Großvenediger. Moreover there is a free shuttle service between Wald, Neukirchen, Krimml and Königsleiten for all those who are in possession of a valid ski pass.

Also for children the Zillertal Arena is a great place! Fabulous slopes for children as well as a special children’s programme, a pick up service for children as well as a which safari and a children’s snow safari make children’s holidays even more varied.
