Wildschönau - Schatzbergbahn

The skiing area Wildschönau, located in the heart of the Kitzbuehel Alps, offers fantastic ski slopes for beginners, but also for skilled athletes.

The skiing area Schatzbergbahn-Wildschönau is located in the high mountain valley Wildschönau and includes the localities Auffach, Oberau, Niederau and Thierbach. This skiing area offers all your heart desires - children and adults, freeriders and racers, snowboarders and lugers will find a suitable slope. The skiing area offers a total of 65 km of ski slopes.

Furthermore a medalled fun park with pro-jump, quarterpipe, high-jump, snake, wave, fun-box and a half-pipe of 90 metres is available in the skiing area. Racers, however, can enjoy skiing on the FIS race tracks, located between Mittermoosjoch and the Race’n board arena.

Moreover five skiing areas offer child care in the skiing area. Children will never be bored, as there is much to discover and explore in the fairytale park, e.g. magic carpets, a ski carousel, a bouncy castle, fairy tale characters, teepees etc. On a weekly basis, there are also olympic games for children with prizes. Also children aged under 2 are cared for in order to enable parents to have a carefree day on snow.
