The ski region Tiroler Zugspitz Arena includes 7 skiing areas: the Almkopfbahn Bichlbach funicular, the skiing areas Biberwier-Marienberg, Ehrwalder Alm, Lermoos-Grubigstein, Berwangertal, the lift facilities Wettersteinbahn-Sonnenlifte Ehrwald and the skiing area “Zugspitzplattl” on the Zugspitze mountain, the most northern glacier of the Alps. It is quite needless to say that the panoramic view you can enjoy when skiing on 152 of ski slopes is really great!
Modern snow-making equipment makes skiing possible until late spring, 52 modern state-of-the-art facilities bring you into the skiing areas. Nothing will be able to stop you on the well groomed slopes of the Tiroler Zugspitz Arena, but you might want to make an exception for the cosy ski refuges spread all over. And for snowboarders and freestylers: on the Zugspitze mountain you can romp about in the “Terrain Park Zugspitze”.
