This is where every winter sport fan will feel at ease - 110 km of every level of difficulty are available in this skiing area from October to June. Modern lift facilities take skiers and snowboarders on 3,210 m als. And the world surrounding you up there will make a lasting impression on you! As far as awards are concerned: according to the “Skimagazin” (October 2006) the skiing area on the Stubai Glacier is considered to be the “number 1 of European glacial skiing areas”. And the ADAC ski guide 2012 declared the Stubai Glacier “most child- and family-friendly skiing area of the Alps”, not only due to the fact that children under 10, accompanied by an adult, ski for free.
In order to guarantee that also the young talented baby-athletes feel at ease, there is also a special programme for children in the Micky Mouse Club, where kids can learn skiing in a playful manner. However, snowboarders will amuse themselves in the “Moreboards Stubai Zoo” funpark, an international meeting point for snowboarders and freeskiers. You wish for a rush of adrenaline? So try skiing on the giant slalom race course on the Eisjochferner Glacier as well as on the speed race track on the Daunferner Glacier. And the skiing area is part of the Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck, a ski carousel made up of 9 skiing areas.
