The skiing area Hochfügen-Hochzillertal in Kaltenbach offers does not only offer perfect conditions for ambitious skiers as well as for those who simply love the pleasure of skiing. Ski-optimal offers the right slope for every skier. However, not only the variety of slopes is breathtaking, but also the panoramic view, which will cast a spell over all the visitors. Moreover Hochfügen-Hochzillertal is one of the ten most snow sure skiing areas in the alpine area and is considered to one of the ten best skiing areas wordwide. So Ski-optimal is a real winter hot spot!

The skiing areas Hochfügen and Hochzillertal have been connected in winter season 2004/05, which today represents one of the largest skiing area of the Zillertal valley. Thanks to constant improvements, Ski-optimal is an up-to-date skiing area which is able to satisfy every needs. Since December 2006, there is also a heated 8-seated chair lift, so you won’t be cold any more! Moreover since 2007/08, one more funicular is available. At the valley and mountain station, there is a ski and depot service.

One of the highlights is also nighttime skiing, a huge area for beginners as well as the “Zwergele” park for children. These ski kinder gardens are situated in Kaltenbach, at the valley station Hochzillertal, in Hochfügen at the panorama restaurant and at the mountain station Spieljochbahn.
This is where your offsprings are perfectly cared for, while you can enjoy skiing on the great slopes.
