Silvapark - Galtür skiing area

Skiing holidays in the first climatic health resort of Tyrol offer fun and action for adults and children in 6 different sectors.

The skiing area of Galtür is considered to be family-friendly and snow-sure and offers perfect conditions for skiing, snowboarding and cross-country skiing. Galtür is the highest located skiing area in the Paznauntal valley and is surrounded by a considerable number of mountains of 3,000 metres of the Silvretta mountain range. For some years now the skiing area shines in new splendour: “Silvapark”, that’s the formula, offering great ski slopes for alpine skiers, racers and snowboarders, fancy snowparks for freestylers and freeskiers as well as well-groomed cross-country ski tracks for nordic athletes.

Silvapark is made up of 6 different areas and is able to satisfy everyone’s needs. Sector 01 “Kid’s World” e.g. is dedicated to the little ones. In this area the mascot SIGGI cares for your children in the “Siggi’s Alpin Club”. In the sector “Land of Adventures” children can make their first experiences on snow and ski in a fairytale-like world. Among other things beginners will enjoy skiing on the ski slopes at the Birkhahnbahn lift facility and the short slope at the Soppalift ski lift. For night owls the slopes are open at nighttime on a regular basis! And afterwards it’s high time to meet up in one of the après-ski bars - come to the popular “Weiberhimmel” or “Fluchthornalm” and enjoy the ambience!
