3 Country Leisure Arena

The 3 Länder Freizeit-Arena, formerly known as Schneewinkel, includes eight areas between North Tyrol, Salzburg and Bavaria

The 3 Country Leisure Arena includes eight skiing areas, five of them are located in North Tyrol: Mt. Steinplatte in the Kitzbühel Alps which is connected to the Winklmoos Alpine Pasture on the Bavarian side, the Buchensteinwand Skiing Area of the Pillersee Cable Car, the St. Johann in Tirol Skiing Area, the Lärchenhof Lifts near the eponymous hotel, and the family skiing area of Kirchdorf with view on the Kaiser Mountains and a winter playground. In addition, there are the two skiing areas in Salzburg - Almenwelt Lofer and Heutal in Unken - and the Bavarian Winklmoosalm.

Via one ski pass only you can access 171 km of perfectly groomed slopes and 61 lift facilities in the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps. The facts are impressive: More than half of the ski slopes can be covered with artificial snow, eight reservoirs provide the necessary water, 34 ski huts invite to stop and enjoy the regional delicacies as well as their sun terraces.

In all respects the 3 Country Leisure Arena offers a range of special offers for children in the kids' parks, such as the Triassi Kinderland in Waidring, Valle's World with the snowman Valle in St. Johann in Tirol and the Pletzi Park in St. Ulrich am Pillersee. In addition, there are 10 ski schools and four snow parks, including the Snow Park St. Johann in Tirol and the one on Mt. Steinplatte. The smallest areas - Lärchenhof and Kirchdorf - are perfectly suited for beginners and children. Also ski tourers will find their favourite spot, e.g. in the Tourenski World Buchensteinwand. In summer, these eight regions turn into wonderful hiking areas with cosy mountain huts.
