Olympiaregion Seefeld 2011

Olympic Region Seefeld skiing area

The Olympic Region Seefeld includes the lift facilities in Leutasch, Mösern/Buchen, Reith, Scharnitz and Seefeld.

The skiing area Leutasch, the ski lift Neuleutasch, the Gschwandtkopf lift facilities, the ski lift Mösern-Hinterfeld, the ski centre Rosshütte and the Brandlift funicular in Scharnitz have become one and form one large skiing area: the Olympic Region Seefeld! The locality Seefeld is an urban centre on a sunny plateau and is protected by the Wetterstein and Karwendel mountain ranges. This area is really snow sure - once snow has fallen in this region snow persists until late spring.

Not only during the day you can enjoy skiing in the Olympic Region Seefeld, but you can also look forward to nighttime skiing in the skiing areas Leutasch-Kreithlift and Seefeld-Rosshütte. Slopes and lift facilities are continuously being improved in order to make skiing are even more attractive. And you will never be cold on and off the slopes, thanks to a heated chair lift, great slopes and cosy après-ski refuges. However, you are also spoilt for choice if you prefer other activities: snow-shoeing, curling and sled riding are really hip! Moreover you can enjoy tobogganing and spend a great time with your beloved ones.
