Oetz-Hochoetz skiing area

This skiing area is above all popular with families and is located in the Oetztal valley.

The skiing area Oetz-Hochoetz in the Oetztal valley offers about 41 km of ski slopes of every level of difficulty, ranging from 814 m to 2,272 m asl (Wetterkreuz funicular). Skiing fun and action is guaranteed in this ski region! And in case natural snow is lacking, the skiing area is covered by artificial snow, produced by modern snow-making equipment. Don’t forget to enjoy the surrounding world of mountains, the snow-capped Stubai Alps are within one’s grasp. By the way: with every multi-day skipass (2 days and more) you can commute between the Oetz-Hochoetz and Kühtai skiing areas. As these two skiing areas merged, you can enjoy 78 km of ski slopes and 23 state-of-the-art lift facilities.

Children, however, can make their first experiences on snow as well as on skis, guided by certified ski instructors. And while your kids take part in the skiing lessons, you can carelessly enjoy skiing in the shimmering snow. Would you like to make a little racing competition? So just come to the permanent race track at the Brunnerkopf mountain. And in case you might be totally worn out in the end, just stop at one of the ski huts and restaurants.
