Oberperfuss - Rangger Köpfl skiing area
This family-friendly ski area is located about 12 km in the west of Innsbruck near Oberperfuss and offers easy and medium ski slopes.
The skiing mountain Rangger Köpfl guarantees area-covering snow-making from the Rosskogelhütte ski hut down into the valley - in case Mother Hulda might forget to make snow. The Rangger Köpfl, whose name derives from the locality Ranggen, boasts 17 km of well groomed easy and medium ski slopes and is ideal for beginners. A special focus in the skiing area is set on children - there is a magic carpet and children are cared for in case you would like to enjoy a day on your own. A great pleasure for adults is nightime skiing on the illuminated slopes as well as après-ski in one of the cosy ski huts. What would a winter holiday be like without après-ski!
Moreover you can enjoy a fabulous view on mountain ranges like the Mieminger, Wetterstein and Karwendel mountain chains, the Kaisergebirge mountain range, the Lechtal and Tux Alps and the Stubai Alps. Fun and action for non-skiers is also provided on the 10 km long natural toboggan run as well as numerous winter hiking paths snaking their way across the landscape. Enjoy winter holidays in all facets. By the way: the skiing area is part of the Olympia SkiWorld Innsbruck, a ski carousel made up of 9 skiing areas!
