Nesselwängle - Tannheimer Tal skiing area
Winter adventures far away from mass tourism, that’s what the Nesselwängle skiing area in the Tannheimer valley has got to offer.
This skiing area has plenty to offer for skiers and snowboarders of every level: the double-seated chair lift Krinnenalpe is an ideal slope for skilled athletes, the Almboden lift is perfect for snowboard freaks and those who love powder snow, sun worshipers particularly like the Neuschwandlift and to beginners we warmly recommend the baby slope. However, there is also a place which is loved by everyone, which is the Krippenalpe - this is where snowboarders, skiers and walkers meet to enjoy the sun and have a drink. Moreover, close to the valley station parents can comfortably watch their children while they learn skiing - there is an adventure park for children with children’s disco, as well as a ski and snowboard rental and repair service.
A new subway between baby lift and Neuschwand lift enables you to safely reach the skiing area with your sports equipment. By the way: the illuminated Tennenberg lift facility also offers the possibility to enjoy nighttime skiing. Those who prefer tobogganing can enjoy a ride the 3.5 km long tobogganing run, which is the longest in the district of Reutte (located at the Krinnalpe mountain station). About 80 km of ski tracks are available to cross-country skiers, while on floodlighted lake Haldensee you can enjoy nighttime ice skating.
