The little village of Erpfendorf and its 1,000 inhabitants is part of the municipality of Kirchdorf in Tirol, but has got its own school and church. This popular holiday resort is surrounded by breathtaking mountain peaks of the Wilder Kaiser mountain chain and the Kitzbühel Alps.

In summer Erpfendorf is a fantastic place for improving your golf skills, offering a 6-hole golf academy and the 9-hole/par 72 Lärchenhof golf course as well as further three 9-hole and five 18-hole golf courses that are available in the surroundings, making golfer players’ hearts leap for joy. Also horse riders and hikers appreciate Erpfendorf. And after a horseback ride, revitalize your muscles in the Kneipp facility of Erpfendorf, only 150 m from the church square! This facility also offers a health fountain with crystal clear mineral-bearing mountain spring water.

In winter this place is effectively surrounded by skiing areas: beside the lift facilities of Erpfendorf and Kirchdorf, connected to the 157 km of ski slopes of the ski resort Schneewinkel, also the skiing areas Kitzbüheler Horn, St. Johann in Tirol - Oberndorf and Waidring - Steinplatte are within easy reach. Moreover Erpfendorf has a toboggan run and in nearby St. Johann you can find an ice rink at the Panorama Badewelt St. Johann.

Our recommendation: absolutely recommendable is a hike across the wild romantic Griesbachklamm gorge, followed by a Tyrolean “marende”, which is a snack in the afternoon, at one of the alpine pastures.
