Wok racing in artificial luge track

The artificial luge track of Igls is venue for rather unusual winter activity.

Stefan Raab led the way and the whole world copies him: 1,270 icy metres are the underground on which the race is performed, a wok is the only equipment daring people need. Of course it is not a normal wok that is used for cooking, but an original four-seater of the Raab World Championships, with which you can easily drive some 90 kmph.

Each wok race consists of two runs, one training race and one as event. Tickets can be purchased for 80 euros. Groups of 20 and more on request, individual appointments can be fixed. These are the dates, enjoy this speedy activity:
