The Tyrolean Festival on tour

This festival takes place in Innsbruck and other locations from July 3 to 13.

The year 2008 will be a very special year for the popular Tyrolean Festival: Every 6 years the Passion Play takes place in Erl and for this reason the Erl Festival goes on tour and is performed in other locations. Venue for this year are the culture city of Innsbruck and Tannheim as well as Lienz.

“Messa da Requiem” by Giuseppe Verdi and the “8th Symphony” by Gustav Mahler represent the inaugural and closure compositions that will be performed in the Congress of Innsbruck. In between, however, there will also be two premieres. Here is the programme:
