13. International Brass Music World Championships

Music and sports are again united at the musicians’ ski race in Wildschönau in 2010.

For 13 years now musicians from Germany, Austria and other countries have been coming to Tyrol to compete, not only musically, but also on the ski slopes. Wildschönau, the venue of the 13th edition of the Brass Music World Championships, expects 300 participants from all over.

The programme:
Januray 29, 2010: arrival
from 6 pm: music groups play in various bars and pubs of Oberau
January 30, 2010:
10.30 am: start of the giant slalom for ski and snowboard at the Schatzberg
14.30 am: start of the tobogganing competition at Oberau-Riedlhof
from 5 pm: award ceremony and unique music and entertainment event in the “Mehrzweckhalle Oberau”
