Kaunertal Glacier - Ried-Prutz-Fendels skiing area
The small family skiing area Ried-Prutz-Fendels and the skiing area of the Kaunertal Glacier became one.
The Kaunertal Glacier is considered the “youngest glacier of Tyrol” and allied with the small skiing area Ried-Prutz-Fendels in order to offer even more possibilities. This area is considered really snow-sure, from October to June on the Kaunertal Glacier and from December to April in the Ried-Prutz-Fendels skiing area. The family-friendly area also offers reduced rates for families - kids under 10, if accompanied by an adult, ski for free. Those who are aged 80 and more, go for free, too. And starting from the 6-day-ticket, the Pitztal Glacier - Rifflsee skiing area, the highest glacial skiing area of Austria, is also included in the ski pass. The winter sports offer is completed by night-time skiing and night-time tobogganing in the Ried-Prutz-Fendels skiing area.
By the way, the Kaunertal Glacier and the Ried-Prutz-Fendels skiing area, together with the ski region Silvretta Arena - Ischgl (238 km of ski slopes) and the ski region Passo Resia - Nauders (120 km of ski slopes), forms the famous Ski World Pfunds. Endless fun on the slopes is guaranteed, above all if you own the new ski pass “Snowcard Gold”. Have fun!
