Hochzeiger Skiing Area - Pitztal

Most of the wonderful downhill ski runs of the Hochzeiger Skiing Area in the Pitztal valley are located above 2,000 m a.s.l

With its 40 km of ski slopes, the Hochzeiger Snow Park and exactly 1,000 m of altitude difference, the Hochzeiger Skiing Area attracts many winter athletes on the sunny south western slopes above Jerzens. Carving, snowboarding or skiing is a pleasure here for all age groups. The free ski bus takes you comfortably to the valley station of the Hochzeiger Cable Car in the village centre.

Did you know that Mt. Hochzeiger is the home skiing area of the former alpine ski racer and Olympic gold medalist Benjamin Raich? The black Benni Raich Slope no. 3 is named after him. Particularly popular are also the Zirbenfall Slope with an 80 % decline, the Panorama Slope and the Selftime racing track. Furthermore, the Hochzeiger Snow Park was realized above the intermediate station and represents a real paradise for boarders with boxenline, kickerline and Chill Area. The season is opened or closed by the Hochzeiger Open-Air and stars such as Alvaro Soler and Wanda.

However, the Hochzeiger Skiing Area is considered to be the skiing area number 1 for families in the Pitztal valley. It includes undulating terrain and is mostly clear of trees. Furthermore, the Bambini-Freiskipass offers a free ski pass for a child under the age of 10 when accompanied by a paying parent. Again and again, the two mascots Pitzi, a little ibex, and his friend Gratsch will greet you in the area. The offer is completed by the 6 km long natural toboggan run and Pitzi's Ski Rules Trail where Pitzi & Gratsch explain the principles of the FIS skiing rules in a child-friendly manner.
