Experience a Tyrolean apiary in a 400 year old farmhouse.

Located in unique scenery in a 400 year old farmhouse in Bocking/Söll, at the foot of the Wilder Kaiser mountain chain, there is a very special apiary. It provides interesting information about the work with bee colonies as well as traditional Tyrolean agriculture, that is closely linked with honey production.

Immersing into the world of bees and taking a look into the living room of a queen bee will surprise you! Moreover you will get an insight into life in a beehive and the honey production cycle.

But in the beautiful farmhouse there is not only the apiary, you can also visit an apitherapy centre, which offers treatments with “bee air”. Additionally, there is a museum where you can learn about the healing effect of bee products, including honey cures, propolis and honey beer, the “Imkerstüberl” which offers coffee, ice cream and soft drinks, and a little shop which sells - of course! - bee products.
