The Rarity Zoo Ebbs is a private animal park that really lives up to its name, as real “rarities” from all over the world can be observed in this zoo. Many zoo inhabitants move about freely, which makes a visit even more adventurous.
The zoo in Ebbs has been founded by a bird and nature enthusiast, who made his private animal park publicly accessible in May 1991. Since 2007, however, it is under new management.
A visit to the zoo is a real animal experience… maned wolfs, Bennett’s Wallabies, king vultures, hornbills, Seychelles giant tortoises, barbary apes, flamingos, porcupines and coatis are only some of the animals that are going to welcome you in this zoo. What is also astonishing for zoo visitors are the quite uncommon friendships that originate among zoo inhabitants. Two swans, a cormorant, three great white pelicans and two Hawaiian gooses made friends and as it is usual for friends, from time to time they meet to make a walk across the zoo!
