To show the stunning beauty of the Karwendel Alpine Park, the largest nature park of Austria, the Olympic region of Seefeld and the region of Lake Achensee organize again the well-known "Karwendelmarsch" (Karwendel March), an event for hikers, nordic walkers and runners.
The hike starts in Scharnitz and leads through the so-called "Eng" to Pertisau at Lake Achensee. There are 52 km and 2,281 m of altitude difference to overcome (ascent). You can also walk only to the "Eng" (35 km).
