Description
Anna Magdalena Wilcke, chamber musician of the Imperial Court, was muse and wife of Johann Sebastian Bach. Concert with:
Nuria Rial (soprano, see pic)
Mariangiola Martello (cembalo and organ)
Karl Nyhlin (lute and theorbo)
Peter Spissky (violin)
Mime Yamahiro-Brinkmann (violoncello)
Arias and instrumental pieces from the "Notenbüchlein für Anna Magdalena Bach" by Johann Sebastian Bach, François Couperin, Gottfried H. Stöltzel and others.
Johann Sebastian Bach: arias from the cantatas "Die Freude reget sich", "Jauchzet Gott in allen Landen", "Weichet nur, betrübte Schatten", "Wer sich selbst erhöhe".
"O Love, she said..." is the theme of the 41st edition of the Innsbruck Festival of Early Music (July 18 - Aug 27, 2017). The programme with concerts, religious works and delightful operas, includes the four Ambras Castle Concerts from July 18 to August 8, 2017.
